Good point.
When I explain the beauty of the kelp forest and the fishes and the anemonies to them, they usually understand, and then its only a matter of walking them through the low or nonexistent shark risk.
Cave diving must be addicting, somehow, to those fond of it. But I cannot see how, unless it is a part of the thrill factor due to the danger.
That is also precisely why I think ego is a big part of the cave draw. But maybe not. Who am I to say? I have never been in a cave, and never will.
Good point though, by comparison.
