A buddy sent me the link below to a site that's got a set of 14 before/after pictures of the tsunami. They've cropped the pix so that when you click "After" you get the same orientation as "Before."

To me, the most amzing one (and the one I'm linking) is the one that shows "Before" as the normal coastline and "After" as the water being sucked out to meet the on-coming wave, which you can also discern in the picture.

Assuming the link works (http://homepage.mac.com/demark/tsunami/9.html in case it doesn't), what you should see is the "Before" picture. Click on the tab at the top of the picture to toggle back and forth between "Before" and "After". Also note that you can view the other 14 pairs of images by clicking a different tab.

Pretty amazing stuff.
