I saw some charter group going to the Cortez Banks next month but they wanted $345 for the one day trip, which seems to be considerably more then what most boats normally charge.
Anyway it would be interesting to hear form anyone. boa tcaptains included who has made either the Cortez or the Tanner Banks as of late to hear how it was, depths, surge, visibility, underwater topography, and lobster populations of course. I want to go again.
It has been over 10 years since I made it to the Cortez once......100 foot visibility, consistent 30-40 foot depths, not much in the way of lobster. I want to go again....And what about your experiences with the Tanner Banks?
