This forum has many die hard Back Plate and Wing fans. If I dove doubles I would be one of them. I dive a Dive Rite Trans-Pac, a Venture wing with a single HP 80 tank. I like this set up and most likely will stay with it for awhile.

I picked up a Mares Syncro Tech BC for a song and a dance last year. Nearly new and I have no interest in ever using it. It is just to bulky for my taste. I think the Black Diamond is a better BC and less bulky.

When I do dive a BC it is a Scubapro Knighthawk. A few to many bells and whistles for my taste, but I still like it.
