I purchased one back in 1996 or 1997. It was the third bc I have purchased in 20 years of diving. I still use it as my only bc. I have put more a couple of hundred dives on it and have no complaints. I did have to replace the velcro on the weight pocket. It just wore out. That was a $10 fix. Ignore the remarks about tech wanabees on dive boats, as this bc pretty much predated the techie craze. It breaks down real nice for travel and has been a very reliable bc. I have used mine cavern diving in Florida, deep diving in Alaska, and diving in the Galapagos, California, Cozumel. It has been a good product for me.
