We have been so fortunate in this country to not experience a famine or shortage of food - at least so far. I guess when there is hunger people will find creative ways to make almost anything taste good.
If you think about it, our marine resources are a stockpile of sorts. You never know what is going to happen. In that line of thought it is all the more reason to aggressively protect the resources that we have out there.
