"Woodrum would serve a 60-day jail sentence and the U.S. Coast Guard has agreed to suspend his merchant mariner's license for 50 days during his confinement, the agreement states. Prosecutors are not seeking a fine."
The judge overseeing the case, U.S. District Judge John Walter, is not obligated to follow the recommendations of the agreement. The sentencing hearing was set for February 28.
