Corrosion

I am cleaning all of my camera equipment. My Sea&Sea strobes have not been taken off the arm mounting adaptors for a little too long and I can't get the screws to budge. Is must have some corrosion in there. Any suggestions? I've tried some 3 in 1 but it isn't working.
