I completely agree Chris, it is all about the Instructor, not the agency.
When I decided to become an Instructor in 1998, I had already made 1200 or so dives in all kinds of conditions.
Since then I have certified close to 300 students of all levels and stand at over 2000 dives.
When I teach, I use the resources I have gained in diving. There is nothing better than experience, to help install training and knowledge in students.
