I'd hate to lose access to Marineland too, and would prefer to see things stay the way they are. But given that this is a prime piece of oceanfront real estate, I guess it couldn't stay undeveloped forever. Everything I've been told indicates access to the beach will remain public. I'm a little skeptical about how that will work in reality, but the Coastal Commission is supposed to guarantee public access and they are not a body to be trifled with.
