I don't remember exactly, but in an early published interview didn't he say somthing about not feeling confident in his abilities to dive the rigs? I think that he himself brought up the issue in the paper. Or, maybe the author of the aritcle just called him an inexperienced diver because the guy who wrote the article thought that was the case - I really don't remeber. I just remember that from the get go that is the image that was portrayed to the public.
