We know it's our responsibility to return safely to the dive boat that brought us to the dive site, but I'd be willing to bet a buck or two that the non-diving public believes it's the boat's responsibility to pick up the divers regardless how stupid the diver dives. Why else deploy a current line off the stern to retrieve divers who stupidly have to surface down current?
Any chance for Ray to score an actively diving attorney who would be willing to represent him pro bono "for the good" of our diving community at large? I sure hope so.
