what kind of octopus is this?

I took these pictures of an octopus on last Saturday's Sea Divers to San Clemente Island. It was small and hiding in a crevice. I can’t tell if is an Red Octopus (Octopus rubescens) or a Two Spot Octopus (Octopus bimaculatus or Octopus bimaculoides). Can you tell what kind it is?
