Not only that we made it, but seas were almost as flat as a pancake.
Saturday morning Egg rock, gorgeous pinnacle between Santa Rosa and San Miguel, 90 feet worth of vis, calm and absolutely not cold.
We moved on to Miguel later that day and spent the night there.
Boomerang Reef was first dive Sunday am, just as clear but pretty surgy even in 90 feet.
I had the pleasure of getting a couple of Instructors from the DC area acquainted with So Cal. They were a good sport and had an "eye opening" experience. They made me appreciate the fact that I dive here.
There were only 19 of us on the Peace, which made it even more comfortable. Wish I had some pictures, but I do have 20 huge scallops and some fish and memories of a wonderful weekend in paradise again.
