Chris, my HP Pavilion a520n is only a couple years old, far from being "antiquated". I have the display set at 800 pix 'cause it's the easiest to read. Yeah, I can change the display to your recommended 1024 but I'd need a magnifying glass to read the screen. I suggest all posters write shorter paragraphs that will fit the entire 800 pix display screen.
BTW, my change of address was done to limit spam. No use, I'm still being inundated. SpamSubtract screens it but it's still a huge P.I.T.A. (pain in the you-know-what ;-)
