I'm a big guy, bigger than your stated amount, I dive a SS backplate and a 50 wing. With the BP, halcyon 20 pockets (w/20lbs) I sink like a rock. I've had traditional jacket and back inflate bcs. ONce I dove a bp, I will never go back. oh, and I'm definately not DIR.
