I am ever changing to keeping it simple. I am about the same size you mentioned. There are times that I prefer a BC. I have a Scubapro Knighthawk BC with bells and whistles. I do like it and use it for all my warm water dives and most of my southern California dives. I bought a Dive Rite TransPac which I also like. I use it with my drysuit. It is a much simpler and stream lined rig. I have it set up for a single tank. Still I will get a BP and Wings. Can't much more simple and streamlined than that.
