I've had a few great dives there, as well as dozens of bad ones. During extended Santanas the vis can get as much as 40 feet there, but 5-10 is average for a good dive. Less than five feet is the way it usually is. Some of my best animal encounters have been at White Point. I've seen 4-5 foot Smoothound sharks, barracuda, many Batrays and the only Wolfeel I've ever found near shore. I'm glad you got to experience the good times.
