If you are looking for a back inflate model BC you can't go wrong with the scubapro knight hawk, weight integrated, trim weights and 45 lbs of lift, or the classic air, 623 lbs of lift and weight integrated, trim weights and 62 lbs of lift. Both my dive buddy and I are the same size as your husband and dive with both, both for recreation(knight hawk) and for teaching (the classic). Also, you can't beat a lifetime warranty!!!
