Two scuba divers were rescued off Point Sur late Saturday morning by a Coast Guard rescue boat and helicopter.

When the two divers, a man and a woman, failed to make their rendezvous with the dive boat Escapade, the vessel radioed for help, the Coast Guard reported.

The two divers were found shortly after 11:30 a.m. by the helicopter, plucked from the water and placed aboard the Escapade unharmed, according to the Coast Guard.
