You're right about the surf conditions today - couldn't be better. So the entry point is a matter of personal preference I guess. In my case if the choice is wet, rounded, rolly rocks and a shorter swim, or smooth, flat sand and a longer swim - I opt for the sand. And it's not such a bad swim, you know :-) I usually have my face in the water, watching the eelgrass go by. You never know what you might see!
