It's a Boston Whaler with the optional dive door. Whaler's are
truely unsinkable. The area between the deck and the hull is
filled with poured in place foam that's a structural part of the
boat. You can cut them in half across the middle, motor away in
the back half, paddle away in the front half. The deck is usually
a couple of inches above the water line, so any water that gets
in just runs out the scuppers.

Yes, I own one (smaller than the Park Service boat in the pix).
