I would agree with you if Mer Madre didn't do her damndest to destroy the artifacts and conceal them under layers of marine growth rendering them almost impossible for divers to identify, even wreck nuts like meself.
BTW, there's a concerted effort now to establish a local shipwreck museum devoted specifically to local wrecks. Once established, I would be one of the first to donate my personal collection.
