Chuck, I agree with that. I've always seen Metridium senile around here, particularly on the oil rigs. I didn't know the big ones were around here.

What fuurther confused me was that I was just up in vancouver, and whenever I called the plumose anemones "metridiums" I'd get a blank stare.

the field ID section at divebums has pictures of both, but no size info.
