Unfortunately, Los Coronados are largely overfished and most of the sites there are rather barren. You can get some good sea lion interaction there, though. In my opinion, the southern Channel Is.--San Clemente in particular--offer better diving. I think the underwater topography is much more dramatic and interesting and there is a wider variety of life.
