Chuck, if I recall correctly. You had a website with a lot of great Monterey/Pt. Lobos underwater photos. Could you let me have this web address. I want to show a friend and new diver. The beauty of cold water diving before he gets spoiled with warm water diving.

Back on the subject, there has been some good discussion on dive flag laws here before. A search might get you some more information. A lot of divers have had bad experiences with dive flags in California. I have a dive flag and only use it outside of California. Where laws require its use. In California to many boaters don't know about dive flags or just don't care. I have had flags stolen during a dive. I have had them ran over. I have had jet skis do doughnuts around them. In California it seems they do a better job of attracting boating hazards then avoiding them.
