At that time it was only for free divers and as far as I know. It still is. At that time there was a coin operated fish food dispenser on the beach. I mention this because the fish were a little agressive towards divers with food at that time. My friend was pouring food into his bare hand about a foot above the surface. A large bass jumped clear of the water and bite his hand. So hard that he bleed and I had to yank out my first aid kit. I was wearing gloves and had no problem with fish, but I also was expecting them to be more than friendly. I think the glass bottom boat feeds the fish regularly and the fish have become very competitive for hand outs.
