Im Padi certified and I agree.
Padi does have some pretty stupid stuff in there dive manuals.
Lots of propaganda for example:
for the padi divers out there have you met new friends and had new experiences answer yes (DUH) your on a dive boat full of people and getting ready to jump into the sea (hello)
and after you jump into the sea you go down to the bottem of the sea.
Some dive skills are wacky also too like stuffing a loaded regulator into the mouth of a droun victim (rescue class) what if it free flows and you don't relize it is. Oooopppsss lung embolisim /over expantion injury sorry realy close if not already dead guy!Just tried to help.

If I had known that Padi sucked befored I got certified I would have looked aroun first. Or do they all suck and its just me snivling?
