Congrats, you dodged a bullet!!! You can get custom mixes for your dives with Nitrox. You can get more bottom time but the dive has to be below 60 feet for the Nitrox to make much difference in bottom time. Some say it's a safer gas, some say they feel better after diving Nitrox... It is also used in tech diving for deco gas but you need the Advanced Nitrox for those gas blends. I would say it's worth doing! I would dive Nitrox every dive that it made any difference. I usually dive 21% though.
