I used to read this anti PADI stuff and think it was all a little too biased until I tried to access by dive insurance. Needless to say I am back with DAN, and, not wanting to spend $200,000.00 on a defamatation lawsuit, I wll say no more at this time.

Chris is right on, this is not about winning a lawsuit, it's about intimidating anyone who might speak out against PADI practices. The dive community should begin a boycott of PADI and begin to train divers more like the Y training we used to recieve. Lord knows the skill we learned in the 70's were more sringent. Sure, more people dropped out or failed, but they failed a course and didn't end up over their heads and dead on some hairy dive they weren't ready for.
