A bit of an inflatable would help a lot. Latigo Point is a long walk, but good diving, especially for bugs. The pinnacles off of Dume are Grade A by any standard (so are the currents). There is lots of excellent diving off of Paradise Cove out a ways. Little Dume is OK. There is the reef off of Zuma. North Zuma is interesting and has flatties. All are decent spots, but not so easy to get to. They are more than casual swims for most people. PV is not so easy either. North Leo Carillo is an amazing reef and reasonable swim.
It is basically where I learned to dive and was very accessable for me, so I spent a lot of time there. Still, I prefer other spots for good reason. There is a reason that I am willing to travel to the North Coast.
I dare say I will show up at some point. It sounds like a party.
Enjoy, seahunt
