Nitrox isn't about making the SPG go down slower (though some
claim there's a small effect there), it's about making the computer
go UP slower. You ongas N2 slower because there's less of it.
These effects are most noticable in the 60-100' range.

When I get buddied with an air diver, the dives seem kinda short.

Downsides are that you have a floor (max operating depth) based on
O2 toxicity, cost, and hassle.
