extension of range South: Red Irish Lord (Hemilepidotus hemilepidotus)

I took this picture of a Red Irish Lord (Hemilepidotus hemilepidotus) last Saturday August 20, 2005 at San Nicolas Island. The depth was approximately 40 feet. This particular fish was about 6 cm in length.
Of course I had my dome ported camera at the time, and I zoomed in the best I could. This picture is then cropped from the original below it.
All of the literature I can find puts the the range for this species at Monterey Bay, CA to Kamchatka, Russia, thus this sighting at San Nicolas Island would be a significant adjustment South on the range of this species.
