I'll let you know when it gets wet. Looking at trying it out on Saturday. I DO like how tough it was built. I was at Salvo (in High Springs, Florida)last week. It was demonstated by beating plaster off the wall with the light head and firing right up! Next demonstration was with a light head that had a broken bulb (you can see pieces missing) and still fired up. I have had two previous canister lights- a Sartec and the new DiveRite that I am selling. I consider myself to be a good stuard of my gear, however at $130 bucks a pop, I have replaced a few too many bulbs. I know that I will come out ahead in the long run. Without having the light underwater yet, I can not say enough about this company. Higher quality than Halcyon (a block away)at a fair price. Same style 18w Halcyon will run $600 more and be 'less' of a light.
