I actually had Barry convert my Helios 9 to his Salvo lighthead and install a more rugged cord. As mentioned, a hair not quite as bright, but after losing a Helios bulb when my rig fell off a hanger in the garage -- and those bulbs are very pricey and have been hard to find -- the sturdiness of the Salvo gear was worth it for me.

Also bought an Apeks tx50 from him at the same time, nice reg.
