I took an advanced scuba diving class some time ago and never received my card. My instructor and shop swore they sent it in. Fo months now I've been trying to get this resolved with PADI service center. I've called (which is a challenge to find the phone number on the site and required long, long wait times). I sent a letter with copies of the documentation. I e-mailed with scanned copies. I did receive a second copy of my Nitrox certification, but never got the Advanced card. So this morning I tried to call and email again. 20 minute wait time, still no answer. What does it take to get a card? Is it $$$? If that's the problem why not just tell me? We're going on a big overseas trip, and would really like to have the card with me. Who knew it can take so long. Anyone know who might escalate to at PADI to get what should be a very simple matter resolved? Signed, frustrated diver.
