If you ever want to start an endless discussion, bring up O-rings and O-ring grease on a photo list.

I use the nikon grease on my nikon stuff and the sea & sea grease on my sea & sea stuff. It does make a difference. I'm guessing that it is the same with Ikilite. If you use the wrong stuff it can make the O-rings not function properly. I don't know how persnickity the Ikilite O-rings are, but I'd use their stuff until you find someone with hundreds of dives on their camera who swears by something else.
