easy access would be la jolla shores, (no rocks, low surf, but potential walk from car)

anywhere in laguna beach (no rocks, but check surf report first on laguna sea sports site, come early for parking)

redondo beach (veterans park)

malibu road, malibu (check surf report, rocks are to the left, sand to the right; enter at the sand)

good info on these sites is on sandeaters, or dale sheckler's so-cal best beach dives
