If you are going to the east end, there is no reason to attempt to call anyone. Their web page says the east end will be open from Friday thru Monday afternoon.

This time of year, you will know if there is a closure because boats will be moving out of the cove and around to the front side.

In the mid 90's the navy took all of their targets out of Pyramid cove and put them on the windward side of China point. This allows them to actually use the range while boats are allower to stay in the shelter of Pyramid cove.

It is going to be a nice weekend to be at SCI!
