Comments: MissyP finally got over the bronchitis that had sidelined her all week. After giving her a Get Well surprise this morning we headed down to La Jolla Shores to see if she could dive. She did great. We decided to look for nudis in the sand dollar beds. We found a few, plus a baby Horn shark, but the poor vis and surge kept us from getting a lot of enjoyment out of the dive.

There were dozens of Leopard sharks in three feet of water, but the waves kept me from getting any photos. We headed back out in search of more life and were surprised to find seven lobsters sharing one rock close to shore. California Sea Slugs, Pleurobranchaea californica were everywhere, as were pipefish.

The night dive brought a few surprises. Besides the Teddy bear that came tumbling downslope to us, we found a crab nebula in the eel grass and an unidentified critter. I thought it was a fishing lure due to the flourescent colors. As I got close, it moved. Anyone know what it is? It was about an inch tall.
