Hi Jim. Thanks for posting - it looks like your DVD is going to be awesome! I've been really wanting a good SoCal dive video to show friends and family what CA diving is all about. I had even gone as far as to make a bulleted list of the types of sites that the video should contain and I was getting ready to enlist friends with UW video (Hi Jon!) to go out and get started. Based on the website, this DVD is going to come pretty close to what I wanted but probably far better quality.

I couldn't tell from the website, did you get some good sea lion or harbor seal footage? Do you have a shot of dropping down the anchor line and seeing the reef or wreck gradually come into view? This is sort of a special moment that is fun to explain to newbies or non-divers.

Maybe version 2 can include
- squid spawning & the critters of the canyons (Vets, La Jolla, etc)
- an old wreck with lots of growth
- a beach dive with a gnarly entry or exit (I know, not too camera friendly)

I just pre-ordered and really I'm looking forward to getting my copy!

Thanks,
Ross Overstreet, "Ross-O"
