That's a long way in an open boat. I've done those distances in
my Boston Whaler Montauk (to the Farallones), and it's OK for occasionally.

Also, if you want to go that fast on the ocean, you need something
BIG. It's a real calm day when I can go flat out in the Montauk.

What are the other constraints? Trailerable? Garagable? ???

More than anything else I've dealt with, EVERYTHING about boats is
a tradeoff.

My dream dive boat: 27' Boston Whaler Challenger, about like this

Not trailerable without wide load permits (10' wide). But even it
probably isn't big enough to go as fast as you want. On the other had, check the fuel consumption of big boats at high speed.
