Unfortunately, what Dave says is pretty much true. The place is only good for eating, drinking and tanning. The boat traffic over the sand falls is intesting.
If you do dive, go with Amigos Del Mar. Another interesting dive is the Gordo Banks, but it tops out at about 130 feet and you don't always get there unless there is enough people.
