There's just one flaw in your comments but it's on a technicality. You said, "We are lucky to live in a locale that supports all this." If only it were really true. Overfishing, pollution, human population, climate change and more all have their impacts on the environment and it is showing up in the marine environment so some would argue that we *can't really* support all this. I've only been diving for 3.5 years but I've heard the stories and seen the photos. There are fewer and smaller fish out there and it's our fault as a society. But you're right that we live in a place that has wonderful amenities available to us. We need to protect those resources and make sure we're consuming them sustainably so they are available for the next generation of divers, fishers, whale watchers, etc. ;-) Debbie |
