nonsense. Mexico is a soverign nation. If the BSB were never endangered in Mexico, then hunters shouldn't have any issues taking them.

I would never shoot a slow growing fish that comes and greets me unless it is really really tasty. I'd probably make fun of anyone that shoots them regularly.

I've also seen 10X more BSB than WSB in the kelp beds where I hunt, so IMO the BSB population has rebounded nicely. But I'd be the first to sign on to protect them. When I'm bored, I would shoot bonita or baracuda and feed them to the BSB.
