What I said was that it was common practice for hunters to give the meat to low income people and go back to hunting. Nothing about it being the only way.

I didn't say anything about ends justifying the means - simply reported common practice.

And in foreign waters, BSB are not protected fish.

Don't get me wrong, I would not defend taking BSB in local waters - myself and the spearos I know play by the rules.

But please don't shift the line of argument. You can defend your point of view rationally without resorting to that.
