I just read the string dealing with Sundiver and I catch the whiff of ethnocentrism with a disagreeable odor of racism. Poaching, what I would describe as any violation of Fish and Game rules, is not the exclusive domain of any ethnic or racial group. I have been on a lot of dive boats over the years and have seen poaching in all forms. What about the dive shop owner who cleans out lobster hole after lobster hole to make sure his clients get at least one bug per trip? He distributes them to license holders like he is passing out business cards or free air fill cards. Then there is the boat skipper who anchors outside the reserve in 65 feet of water while his deckhands direct divers into the reserve. These guys aren't Asian, they are a white as they come. As to the remark that "you write with an Asian accent..." I won't even grace that observation with a response. Stupidity for that writer is its own reward.
