But the "Smiths" are there, and they seem to poach the abalone on a much larger scale. I think it's just easier for the FAGs to target the little yellow people because they seem so out of place on the great white north. That and their resources are so limited that they get their quota with just the "yellers". And because of that "focus", the "Smiths" can poach without much worries or hassle.

I've sat in Chinese restaurants in San Francisco and have seen these "Smiths" walk in with backpacks full of abs. They go right to the kitchen and sell them for $10/each. I walked in and saw it with my own slitty eyes.

On a related note, I was up in Van Damm one opening weekend with probably 100 other divers most of whom were "Smiths". The FAG officer made a beeline, through all the other divers standing around, to me to check my abs and gear.
