It is true. There was a net collection on parts of the Johanna Smith. I am seeing that old nets do continue to trap and kill fish. I know people who get out there and try to clean up the old nets, it is a project in itself.

The other issue on the wrecks is fishing line. There were high concentrations of fishing line in some areas. It is extremely easy to get snarled in it. I had to spend a little time on each of the last two dives unwinding fishing line from my legs. Many of the wrecks do usually have low visibility and they definitely aren't beginners dive sites.

Thanks for bringing that issue up. I remember one dive on the Pac Star when you brought a wad of old fishing stuff up. Every little bit helps.
