Also, unless you take a live-aboard, you chances of being left behind are astronomical, compared to anywhere else, including Mexico or Fiji, the other spots that are famous for leaving divers behind. If you want to spend a lot of money on a scuba trip, like Australia, then Palau makes a lot more sense.
